When you invest in something, you expect a return. The same is true with your children — when you pour into them, you hope to see good fruit grow from that investment. Pour the fruits of the Spirit into your children (Galatians 5:22–23). Invest your love, patience, joy, peace, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self‑control.

Love your children like your life depends on it — because in many ways, it does. The outcome of your child’s life shapes your own. Your children depend on you for everything, and as their parent, you should depend on Jesus for everything. Your dependence on Him becomes the foundation your children learn to stand on.
