As a single parent we face many challenges, but no challenge is too big for God. This is why we have to rely on Him in everything we do, especially in the role of a single parent (Mark 9:23). I remember always feeling overwhelmed, drained, lonely, despair and sometimes fearful. The more I prayed the closer I got to God. I am here to tell you; you are not alone in this journey. It is imperative to have God in your life. If you don't know Christ, it is a must you get to know Him personally and intimately. You are in a position that requires a new you whether you know it or not. It is up to you to set a solid foundation for your child(ren) (1 Corinthians 3:11). Leadership is important because you are the example your child(ren) will emulate. I beg you to give all of your worries and cares to Jesus (1 Peter 5:7). I truly believe there is a special place in God's heart for single parents. What are your thoughts? I am open for discussion and prayer.
